Open-air concerts and screenings: the Mediterranean festival "Mare Nostrum" returns this weekend to Bormes-les-Mimosas

For several years, the Ciné Mare Nostrum association, chaired by Claude Lévy, has been celebrating the cultural and cinematographic richness of the countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea.
Through a monthly film program, it invites the public to discover or rediscover emblematic or confidential works from this region of the world.
And like every end of summer, the association's flagship event returns: the Open-Air Mediterranean Film Festival, which will be held this year on September 13 and 14, in the enchanting setting of the Cigalou Park.
The festival will open each evening at 8 p.m. with a live concert of famous film scores, performed on the cello by Michel Henenquin and on the piano by Claude Lévy. A musical introduction that will allow spectators to recognize the soundtracks of great cinema classics.
Before each screening, a quick presentation will allow you to discover the genesis and the protagonists of the films shown, enriching the cinematographic experience.
The first 100 reservations will receive a Chilean lounge chair, ideal for enjoying movies in complete relaxation under the starry sky.
This summer event promises a cinematic and musical immersion in the heart of the Mediterranean basin, between emotions, discoveries and conviviality.
A festival not to be missed for all lovers of the seventh art.
